Ali, Jane and Annik’s trip to Igayaza, the Adelante Africa operations center in Uganda, motivated Elisa to start the Enjuki project.
The collection is made with wax fabrics purchased from a local store in Kampala, Uganda. The designs follow simple patterns, are reversible and without ornaments. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the clothes will be donated to Adelante Africa for the projects carried out in Uganda.
Enjuki are also Jimena and Ana who have made the different pieces of this collection. Jimena contributed her skill in the lace of patterns and Ana, with her extensive experience in the sector, contributed her expertise in sewing. Helia, Lina and Olivia are also collaborators in this project, since they offered their smiles to the camera of Frédéric, the priceless photographer.
Enjuki do not have an online store but we will be selling the collection on specific occasions in Madrid.
They will be in Pop-up-chic from 4 to 7 of May 2017 at Calle Serrano, 2 – Madrid 28001
